OK, so I know you ladies can help me
I was doing so well following the WAPF diet, the whole family guzzling the raw milk, cheese, farm fresh eggs from my best friends chickens, soaking grains. But my son was still having various issues. So we finally broke down and took him for allergy testing (the prick test) and low and behold he allergic to - Dairy, gluten, eggs, peanuts, strawberries, and cashews. I knew about the strawberries and cashews, and suspected the peanuts. I have removed the dairy, gluten, and eggs from our diet because although I don't know I am allergic to them too - I am still breastfeeding my son (he's 3 1/2 but nowhere near wanting to wean). I was feeling OK, but I am now pregnant - just 3 weeks 5 days - and already I am craving milk and eggs in a big way. What do I do?? How much will it effect him if I have these things while still nursing him?
As a side note - I also have gone through the iodine protocol and all the detoxing symptoms stopped a few weeks before I got pregnant. Any reason I should be concerned about continuing the protocol (or not) while pregnant. It seems iodine being something the body needs - I should continue. But am I detoxing into the baby's body??
Thanks for any advice or opinions
