SPD and anxious 8 yr old now wetting bed-- ideas??

My girl is 8 and has begun wetting the bed. I can't figure out why. At first, it coincided with my babysitting for 3 wks because it went away within a day of that job ending, but she started again today. Nothing has changed.

just saw this as I was searching for SPD related threads. Our SPD & anxious dd once went through an episode of bedwetting for 2 weeks and we eventually figured out it was because her preschool had a terrifying (to her) presentation on fire safety that featured painting flames on a drawing of a house (grrr). Once we figured it out & explained to her all the safety precautions we had in place to stop our house from burning down with us inside she stopped wetting the bed immediately.

All that to say...maybe something is upsetting her & she is too scared to talk about it? I'm sure you've probably thought through most of that though........
