Buying the Mothering Magazine

There are some people around me getting ready ready for their LO's in their belly to come join us in the world. I would like to get them a subscription. Do we get discounts for being on this site? I don't have a subscription, and would like one too. But for now, I can only afford to give (and even that is a stretch at this time, but I feel it is important!)

Just jumping in here to ask my own question. I was about to buy a gift subscription for a friend, can I just buy the supporting membership for myself but have the actual magazine subscription stuff sent to her? (I already have a subscription )

Thank you very much for the advice. I do not feel one can get online, another doesn't have enough time, well two of them fall in that category, another wouldn't be interested in getting online.

Yes, you can just fill in her information when you get to the subscription area.

Hi and thank you so much for taking the time to reply and help. More questions for you is there a PM feature rather than e-mail to contact the administrator? I am ready to set up at least one of the gift memberships and have their e-mail address, but not a username for them yet as they will have to do that themselves I would think.
Also, one other question, how is this information protected? Are addresses and e-mail accounts sold to companies? I searched and couldn't find the answer to my question.
