The twins have been in the miracle blanket but they are outgrowing that. What is another good brand to use on a bigger babe?

Hi Nummies! I can't believe the twins are already that big!
So I have never used a brand name swaddling blanket. I use a very old twin sheet cut in half. You could bind the cut side, but I never have, I just use that end as the bottom edge. You could also get a yard of Muslin and make a few.

I hear the aden and anais blankets are the best. They are made of muslin so nice and light for spring and summer. I just ordered two myself to try on out on my DS who is too big for his swaddlemes. Be wary though. Target does sell A&A blankets but they are not the same quality as the original. Look for A&A that measure 47"x47". I bought mine at the gap, but they are available on Amazon, ebay, etc etc. They aren't cheap (4 for $40, 2 for $30), but from what I hear they are the best.

I found some really cute large swaddlers from Ahmelie on Etsy. Handmade, about 44" square, made from a single layer of flannel. They're about the same price as the Aden and Anais ones.

I second (or third) the a&a blankets - muslin so super light, and quite large. as the weather is getting warmer, I didn't want anythin very heavy, and DS uses the "tail" (the center part that is flipped up) as sort of a lovey/chew toy.
have you tried sleep sacks? these come in a wide array of sizes and weights. I love mine! DS swaddles for most nap times, but night time sleep is often in a sleep sack.
