Hello All

I have been a member for awhile, but were only now getting back steady internet so I thought I would drop by. I am an Unschooling Crunchy Mama of 4 , with the 5ht on its way sometime in October. We just claimed bankruptcy aboout 3 months ago and let me tell you it was the hardest thing we have ever been through. Its funny because we havent always been "crunchy" and most of the debt was accumulated when we werent. lol
Anyway , I am looking for support and ideas to live not only a more frugul life, because I feel like we sort of are stating from scratch, but also a very eco conscious way of living as well. We have always been very mindful people, but we caught up in the race and have only in the last year realized we never rearlly wanted to be in a race.
We are Organic farmers now, living a very natural life in peace and quiet, I would like our finances to also be peaceful and quiet.

Hi Green_Ma_4 & Welcome!!!! This is a great forum for getting finances in order and wonderful ideas on how to live quite frugally.

s i.e. bankruptcy, my sister went through that 2 years ago and are starting to get life back. It definitely changed how they view money and evaluate needs vs. wants in their life.

Again welcome

Welcome! Lots of wonderful Mama's and support on here, and some great blogs to check out. We were also caught in the rat race, and have dug out of debt and now trying to pay off the last bit and build savings.

Thanks for the hugs and support ladies.

Our life has definitly changed since we jumped off the coaster. We dont wake to the feeling of dread anymore which is always good. But we are doing without alot...which acttully is really good as well because we are learning to do other things and to live alot more eco friendly, which is always cheaper, but you use things a little differently.
I am going to take your advice and look through the blogs! Thanks!
