Aerial silks anyone? - Page 2

I am a professional Aerialist and trainer in the Atlanta area. If you would like to check out my class, I teach an introduction class every Thursday night and would love to have you! Go to our website, www.theskygym.com for class schedules and signups. Let me know if you have any questions.

FYI - Aerial Silks is the most dangerous of all of the Aerial Arts. If you choose to learn on your own, use extreme caution and make sure someone is there to spot you. Even with those things, it can still be very dangerous.

Hello,

I just moved to Albany and am looking to start doing aerial silks. Would love any information on how you got started and if you found a community in Albany to train with. Thanks!

I reside in Rochester, N.Y. and there is one studio that teaches; silks, hammocks and hoops. Any one else know of any other places? I am thinking of buying an indoor rig for my apartment (thank the goddess for my tall ceilings) however, even with the tallest indoor at 9' I can learn more hoop on my own, there is not enough space for silks. Classes are very expensive here. I would like other's with similar interests to talk to.

I am so jealous. I need to lose more weight before I can try this but it is my goal, and there is school not far from me. Just need those pounds off faster
