I am going to start my 5 and 6.5 year olds on Rosetta Stone Homeschool Version 3 this week for LA Spanish (but I think this question applies to any RS v3 product).
Hints for the younger set? Full year curriculum option, right? They have some Spanish exposure but will be starting from the first lesson.
They are not nonreaders. I'd guess they both read about 3rd grade level (English).
I ran through some review and then started a lesson to understand the product better, as I have some Spanish but not much. I never did learn to trill the r (took Spanish in college). It accepts pretty much any pronunciation it seems. Does it get more demanding later? Though mine are young enough that this is not a huge concern of mine.
