Confused...do you think there is a chance?

I am so confused! FF thinks I O'd, although I am doubful. This is our 7th or so month trying, and last cycle was long and annovulatory. So this month I didn't have much hope, and was assuming I'd have to call my doctor for another round of provera to bring on AF. However, by surprise, my temp spiked on Thursday. However, they are back down yesterday and today. Also, unfortunately, DH was out of town this past week, so we haven't BD'd since Saturday.

This morning, I had some slight bright red spotting. Totally gone now. I've never had spotting without AF being right around the corner. Also, I've always gotten sore boobs by 3dpo, and this time nothing. So either I O'd and I am just randomly spotting, I didn't O and I am going to get breakthrough bleeding, or I O'd and it's implantation spotting (from hubby's 5 day old sperm...I am doubtful). Any insight is appreciated!

Looks like a fallback rise. I usually get these around 3-5 dpo. Lots of women get them; they're caused by a secondary wave of estrogen in the LP.

I hate to use the "time will tell" line but that's what I think. I think if temps stay where they are now, that there is no O as that is not a sustained thermal shift. The spotting could indeed be random or with the recent temp dip could be O spotting? Get to Bding if you can jsut in case!

if you consider that CD25 was likely a fluke... I would say yes it very much looks like O has happened, according to the FAM method. Also, just my opinion.... but if it doesnt drop below where it is (even by .1 degree) then I would still say it looks like possible post-O temps. Mine were crazy low in the first half of my TWW this time.... but no doubt I Oed when FF says I did. http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/...rl/?i=3659120& even 6dpo which looks like its a possible O date is way out of question, I had NO symptoms of O around then, all of my usual symptoms at the first slight rise and if 6dpo were actually my O date I had a bfp by 7dpo... which is not likely. Even for me!

I have heard of crazier things than a woman getting pregnant from DTD 5 days before Ovulation (heard several 6 days... a couple 7 days and even one 9 days that I sort of doubt) so yeah... time will tell. But currently I agree that it really looks like maybe you really DID O then.

agree that time will tell, but it looks pretty much like you o'd to me. could definitely be a fallback rise. see what happens in the morning, then you will know.
