Newborn sizing questions

Thread Starter
Sorry if this is redundant to other current threads - at 4 days pp I haven't got time to search!
For reference, baby is 7lb11oz and quite long.

Question about covers - if Bummis SWW velcro covers are fitting in NB size:
what size should I get in Superbrite?
what size should I get in Thirsties duo (velcro)?

Question about Motherease Sandies Size Small:
Do they really fit from 8lbs?

Thanks!

Get the size one Thirsties Duo Wrap. For us, that fit well up until about 15 lbs. We could squeeze him in it until 18 lbs, but at 15 lbs I started using the size 2.

I would think you'd want the superbrite xs as well, but I haven't used it in that size.

I didn't use the sandy's that early, but my thought is that it might be a smidge large at the beginning, but do-able.

You might want to go ahead and size up to a small in the super brites.. My LO one month but right at about 7lbs is wearning the Newborn BSWW the super brites still fit her but they are getting a bit snug mostly in the rise the smalls are a bit big but I think at this point you'll get longer use from the smalls if your LO has a long rise..

Super Brites are 1 lb smaller than SWW, so you might want to get Small Super Brites.

XS GEN-Y would fit well now. Small Green Acre Designs would fit in about 3 weeks.
