Hi,
I've been using cabbage leaves and block feeding from day 2 with this baby and my breasts are soft already--YAY! This didn't happen for many months with my first baby.
I'm wondering how to monitor my progress? I'm block feeding 12 hours on each side. Her stools are foamy (not seedy at all) and very dark yellow. My first baby's was always spinach green, so this is new for me.
I don't want to get us into trouble with too little milk, especially since we're still in the early weeks. On the other hand, I would love for both baby and I to be comfortable (me: no lumps/severe leaking/engorgement, and baby: less gas, normal stooling, less vomiting/spitting, less choking at the breast).
There is an LC in town that I've contacted but it's $150! I don't know if it's worth the $$$ if you ladies have advice you'd be willing to share from your experiences.
Any ideas? Thanks!
