I am really sorry for the cross post, but I have an appointment tomorrow and really need help before then--trying to get as many answers/views as possible.
I had a missed miscarriage diagnosed on March 30, baby stopped growing just after 8 weeks (was supposed to be almost 10 weeks). This was my second miscarriage, and I had my first D&C the next day.
Before I found out I had lost the baby, I was having some pain in my abdomen. Everyone kept telling me it was round ligament pain, or regular uterine stretching. It was debilitating--I could not comfortably move.
This pain has continued up until now--thirteen days past the D&C. It has lessened, and become more localized, but it's the same pain. Now it is centered on my left ovary area. Sometimes the pain will shoot down my leg or through to my back, and sometimes I will feel the same pain on the right side, instead of or at the same time as the left.
My doctor first told me that I shouldn't still be having pain, then her nurse told me it was "probably just [my] period" (coming 5 days after a D&C, WTF), and finally scheduled an ultrasound.
Ultrasound was last Friday, showed NOTHING WRONG, according to the nurse.
What do I do? I am looking for ideas as to what this could be, so that I can ask for specific testing to be done when I see my doctor tomorrow. There doesn't seem to be an ideal forum for this type of question...
And for what it's worth, the cause of the miscarriages has never been determined, and I have no known pelvic problems.

I have had three miscarriages myself, but after the first 2 (even though they're "supposed" to wait until after 3 to do any testing) my ob decided to send me for testing for blood-clotting disorders (the easiest and cheapest of the tests that they typically run). And in fact I was shown to have a blood-clotting disorder. You might want to push a bit for *some* testing, even if your HCP doesn't usually test until you've had 3 losses.
