Brewer's yeast and flax seed

Thread Starter
Correct me if I am wrong but the words for these are lievure de biere and graines de lin, right?

Now any ideas of where to find? Have checked the regular grocery stores and one stocks brewers yeast but its not gluten free. Can't find either one in the health food stores that I know of (Sartoriz). Suggestions ?

graines de lin usually you can find in health food stores ; "magasin bio"
is your local one big enough ?
can't they order some for you ?

failing that you could either look it up online
for exemple there

or search for the health food section in the largest supermarket in your area

can't help about the yeast, not sure what you are talking about, sorry

I get lin seeds from our local algerian store which sells all types of different flours/seeds - where abouts in france are you? I saw some Levure de Biere recetly in our supermarket - it said bio on it - but you never know - I didn't notice if there was gluten in it though.

there are 200 magasins La vie claire in France
see on that site, entering your "code postal"

if you can find one near you

they do sell graines de lin, I was in one yesterday and saw some under their own brand
They will have Levure de Biere too
am not sure what special features in the brand you mention that you are looking for, but there's a choice of forms (flakes, pills, powder I think too) so you'll need to read the labels ....

they do sell online but I cannot find if they do sell graines de lin online ....
don't find they website so clear ...

don't know if you're still looking but I got my brewer's yeast at our local bio coop (we live in Boulogne-Billancourt). On the bottle it says "flacons de levure maltée." The brand is "Novita." Good Luck!
