Kansas vax exemption

Kindergarten round up in on Thursday, and I need to figure out how to do the exemption here. (We just moved to KS.) I called the health department, and they said there was no form for religious exemption, just for medical. There is religious exemption here, and I am supposed to write a letter or something. What should I write?

this KCI says right on it what to do at the bottom under legal alternatives

You do NOT need to say which denomination you adhere to.

Okay, so if I just write:

Son's Name is an adherant of a religious denomination whose religious teachings are opposed to innoculations.

Sincerely,
PenelopeJune

I'm covered with that? It seems so...open to question. They can't ask me what our religion is? What should I say if I'm asked? What happens if later down the road they find out that we are not religious? (Because we are not.)

If they ever ask, tell them if they would like to keep up the line of questioning, your lawyer will be contacting them. That should shut them up real quick.

As for not being religious, just never talk about it or bring it up.

Just a basic letter stating that vaccines are not compatible with your religious beliefs is fine. The school has no legal right to question further or to ask you to justify any further.
