I can't stop eating chocolate!

Okay, is it just me, or does nursing make one crave chocolate? I am eating my one year old's easter bunny right now. (from my mom and dark chocolate-she must have known I would be eating it!) I have had this with each baby, but this time seems even more intense. I am never going to lose the 30 lbs I need to unless this stops!

I would LOVE it if that was so! I crave chocolate pretty much 24/7 anyway, nursing or not, but if I could blame the way I've been eating over the last 6 weeks on nursing, I'd feel SO much better!!!! (and hey, if it's so, does that mean I really DO get to eat 3x as much chocolate? )

Lol, me too. I finished off my dark chocolate mint bar the other day, and I'm trying to figure out how/when I can get over to the natural foods store to get another one (or two... or five...). I also finished off the kids' Easter chocolate when they weren't looking.

I've been craving anything sweet... or baked... pretty much all carbs, really...

Sorry, ddc crashing. Littlest dd was born last March and this post brought back memories. I remember that I just ate and ate chocolate like no tomorrow...and with the Easter season...cadbury caramel eggs were my best friend.

Enjoy!

Lol. I asked my husband what ever happened to getting a box of chocolates? I have a million newborn outfits. What I want is a pound of chocolates!

You too?

I actually have this hypothesis that chocolate rebalances hormones. I had my parents bring me a box of chocolates after I gave birth to Julian, and I went through the whole box in two days.

I'm only now starting to wean myself off it. I was up to three packs of Rolos a day.

haha.. I love Rolos too (and really WAS on a kick eating them after Hazel's birth!)

Um... I made the mistake of making homemade peanut butter cups last night. And... *swoon* .. They are the most delicious things in the WORLD. And because I'm an enabler, I used this recipe! It's super simple and takes less time than stated if you use the fridge to 'set' the melted chocolate

Because I too am an enabler and I need folks who can commiserate with the 25 lbs. my body has decided to keep, I'll mention that Amazon has Scharffen Berger chocolate bars on a screaming sale right now; (24) 3 oz. bars for $18.16 shipped (they normally sell for $4.99/bar)

Right now it's the milk chocolate, semisweet, and semisweet with cacao nibs. Last week they had the extra dark too and it is incredible-it tastes more like fine wine than chocolate (ask me how I know )
