I'm looking for good, healthy smoothie recipes to try out. Frankly I'm getting tired of eating and I also need to put healthier fuel in my body. I think that smoothies may be more palatable to me. Anyone care to share they favorite recipes, tips, etc?

We've been making this one http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/a...ipe/index.html for breakfast. We use yogurt in place of soymilk and haven't assembled it at night yet. We like it.

I like milk, yogurt, banana, a raw egg yolk and some frozen fruit (right now we only have strawberries. Hopefully we'll get more this spring, and then freeze some other fruit). I've JUST started making smoothies for the first time in a couple years. What's nice about the banana is that it adds sweetness without adding in a sweetner. (I consider fruit healthier even than maple syrup, honey, etc. and honey would be impossible to get mixed in)

I'm thinking adding a little buttermilk as well (part milk part buttermilk) would be really healthy and REALLY tasty. I'd love a little more sour.

(we did milk, yogurt, banana, egg yolk, and pineapple this morning. the taste was good, though the texture wasn't the best.)
