When in your cycle is the best time for acupuncture?

Thats a question for your acupuncturist and depends, I am sure, largely on WHY you are getting the acupuncture as I am sure if its for problems with your LH/ovulation/EWCM or whatever you would want it at a different time than if it is for your progesterone/pms or whatever.

I've had acupuncture at several points in my cycle. When I was having a long cycle, my acupuncturist did points that got things moving. Last time we insem'd, she did "settling" and "nurturing" points (can't recall what they were...). Today, just before O, we did a gentler version of the ones that get things moving. Basically, acupuncture is flexible, depending on your issues and where you are in your cycle, but you need to consult with an acupuncturist to find out what's right for you.

I've loved my mornings with acupuncture - soooo relaxing. Go for it!

OK, if I don't get my bfp this weekend, I'll be giving her a call. Thanks!

does your AP read charts? if not, i would find an AP that specializes in fertility. after reading your charts and asking some questions, the AP should be able to determine how often you need to come in.

i saw mine every week for 3 cycles, conceived the 3rd cycle, still seeing her now for help with nausea and lethargy and moodiness. while TTC, every week i showed her my chart and she would adjust the treatment depending on where i was, or ask me to come in an extra time or switch days depending on what she felt i needed.

It definitely depends on where you are in your cycle but I go every week so she does different points every week based on my pulses, how I'm feeling and what's going on - pre-o, 2ww, etc. I wouldn't expect to just go one time in your cycle and have results - acupuncture is a whole body treatment and you need to go regularly in order for it to have an effect.
