my dd (3) has always had tiny amounts of eczema on her face or hand, but really minimal and never bothersome. now she has it all over her arms, elbows, chest, tummy, and face
. she *never* complains about discomfort in general, but has says it itches several times. anyway, i'm trying to be a sleuth here and figure out what to eliminate. in the last month, i think the only new things are:
1) orange juice on a daily basis. i mean, she's had it in the past, but very sporadically. i just started buying it, and she's been drinking it at least once a day for weeks.
2) bach flower remedies (corn from the alcohol). she's had corn before, too, but generally i try to avoid it. she now takes several drops of 2 remedies 4 times a day.
3) valerian - i think it's in palm oil or coconut oil.
4) a new stain stick that i use a little on her clothes - maybe 4 times.
so, does anyone want to cast a vote on the culprit??? also, if i eliminate the right thing, how will i know (will her eczema really go away?)? i am so sad that she made it all this time, and now i'm afraid she's going to have to deal with this for a long time
