Showing off my skiier!

We just got back from our ski trip and Levi learned to ski! He will be 3 in July, and is in the smallest ski gear made (his boots are about 3" too big for him!). I thought that this year I would be just skiing with him between my knees, but he was stopping, turning and going down blue runs by the end of the week. It was awsome!

Please exuse my voice, I hope I dont sound like that in real life... lol

Geared up-

Second day of skiing, the first day we only did one short run because he was soooo tired. This is him doing a perfect stop!

Here he is on freeway, my favorite run as a kid (I learned to ski at this resort, and my first job ever was teaching kids skiing there) Freeway has a big steep hill at the top, and the rest winds all over the mountian, so you can go pretty fast and stay in control, you do have to 'steer' around all the corners though so you dont fall off a (small) cliff!

Levi on lodgepole, this is blue run (green is easiest, blue in the middle, and black the hardest) - he falls at the end!

This one shows how fast he goes! (Im standing still in this one) This was the last run that day, he was super tired from skiing all day, so he is 'done' at the end.

Awesome!

DS started when he was 3 yo also. I nearly wept at the cuteness of the little boots and skis.

Diamond Peak in Incline Village, NV (Lake Tahoe)
Its a great place for beginners, not to challanging for experts though, but awsome views of the lake and easy to manage.

That is so cool! My 5-year-old tried skiing for the first time this past winter and loved it!

I noticed that it is a lot easier to teach such a tiny kid, they dont have far to fall!
We had such a good time, it was great!
