Lint removal on line dried clothes

DH's work slacks get line dried because otherwise they'll shrink, but every time he goes to wear a pair of navy or black pants he gets all pissy because of the lint on them. Short of shrinking his pants or taking a lint brush to them, is there any other (easy) way to get the lint off of them? I'm sick of him getting pissy with me because there's naturally occurring lint on his pants.

When I line dry my clothes, once they're dry, I run them through the dryer on delicate to soften them up. It gets off any lint too.
