if that is the saliva method (there are differing brands of microscopes on the market, so wasn't sure if this is what you meant) I did try, because theoretically, it's way easier than temping. I had a hard time discerning the variations in fertile/not fertile.
The handiest thing we used it for was to look at DH's swimmers - LOL! (he really didn't want to get "checked" so we had a looksie to see if he had any! he did!)
I really just am keeping an eye on cm right now, and that seems to be going ok; I defo noticed when I got EWCM the first time, and knew my first PP AF would come in about 2 weeks. We wisely avoided until after the EWCM dried up. not ready for baby #2 yet!
