Bad cough in 19 month old AND 3 year old!

Both of my boys have a terrible cough. i got sick first and they got it too. i didn't have the cough though just fever sore throat and conjestion. Thier fevers went away but they are horribly congested and cough all night long. what should I give them? Has any one tried Gaia cough syrup? Does it work well?

Here's what we do and it works wonders for night time coughs.

In a heat safe bowl, put 2 drops each of eucalyptus, lavender, and tea tree essential oils. Pour boiling water over it in their room. Leave it under the bed where they sleep so it won't get knocked over.

It will smell like you coated their room in Vicks Vapo Rub and seriously works awesome!

If you have a room infuser for essential oils that works just as well if not better.
