Does anyone have experience with these? I have a stash of newborn prefolds and covers, but want to get something easier to compliment the stash for DH/on the go use...and since they won't be my "workhorse diapers" I am tempted by the one size aspect (my babies are usually big-ish at birth (*8lbs) and fast gainers. Gro baby diapers are in local baby stores and whole foods, which makes them slightly more appealing than something I'd always need to order. The search function isn't working today, or I'd search for threads. I didn't see a review in the past 3 or so years.

I love my Gro Babies. I prefer the snaps to the velcro even though the velcro is better than any other diaper I've used, but this is just because my DD is able to pull velcro diapers off through her clothes.
That being said, they do seem to be smaller than other one size diapers. Trimmer but also i think I'll have to buy a few larger singe size ones if she is still using diapers by the end of the year.

I didn't buy these till my daughter was a little over a year and she's nearly two now. I don't love them. If she poops then the cover has to be washed so I lose the benefit of multiple inserts. For a long time it was like she knew she had one of these on so she pooped instantly.
The velcro doesn't work very well at all after less than a year of use.
For one size diapers my favorites are Happy Heiny's (these we got when she was born and they are still in very good shape--one diaper had a problem so I mailed it to them and they gave me a new one!), and Rumparooz (the BEST at catching messy poop). I say that having tried almost every one size on the market.
