Tell me if i am imagining this line - Page 3

Congrats!

And I agree... at 15dpo I was so convinced I was about to get AF despite my recent bfps and being a day past my normal LP length that I drove in below zero weather into the city to buy a FR gold digi to convince myself I was pregnant. My cramps were just THAT convincing... for the first 10 weeks or so of pregnancy I still got them. They arent a bad thing, for a pregnant woman its actually usually a sign of uterus growing or increased bloodflow!

Cautionary note: I know a few people online who have gotten mysterious pink lines on FRER and Answer lately and later turned up BFN. Hope that is not true in your case!
I wonder if those mysterious lines were early positives that were actually chemical pregnancies. That happened to me last cycle--faint positives at 9 and 10 dpo, then negative as can be from days 11-14, and bleeding when AF was due. Same thing happened in Feb, although I got quite a few positives that got lighter before I started to bleed . I suppose there could be faulty tests out there, but my negatives were as stark white as they could be on both FRER and Answer tests.

that has actually happened to me...but looking back I'm pretty sure they're just evap lines. I know because they are pink and pretty that everyone thinks they're not, but the fact is most people that get those (including myself at one point) went over that time limit and you just can't trust um after 10 mins!! It's awful

I didn't realize people were getting the lines over the time limit. Although when I've looked at a negative FRER or Answer from the trash I've never seen a line, even the next day. But I'm sure it does happen. Anyway, congrats again!

i think its like a new thing thats happening, the old ones i think were in pink foil? and the new ones are in white ones? dont quote me on that one, but i think that its just a new thing bc that neverrrrr used to happen to me either

Interesting. I've never gotten a line after the time period on a negative test. I don't think I've had that happen on any brand of hpt--sounds like some tighter quality control is needed! Now I don't know what brand to test with this cycle!

Thats backwards

and its not new at all, leaving it after the time limit has always had a risk of a false positive that is why we repeatedly say looking at the test past 10 minutes will NOT give you a reliable result. If theres a line, it may be a positive... but its just as likely to be an evap line.

I got a few on Answer... one on a FRER... a ton on Equate pinks (and I refuse to buy equate blues after seeing how many false positives come up during the time limit!)

I don't think your imagining it... I could see it its just very faint and through pictures its soo much harder to see! I am having the same problem, I am 6 days late and I just did a pregnancy test and I seen one very dark line and another very very faint for a sec I thought my head was playing with my eyes and vision but I deffinetly can see a extremely faint line on mine as well, Im so nervous and don't know what to think about it, if I am or not! But I really hope I am I have a 18 month old baby boy and kids are my world! Well sweety good luck to you!
