wide width shoes???

My daughter has extremely wide feet, she's just turning 3 and shoes for her are very hard to find. I should mention that she is also very picky about her feet- we have been buying her Stride Rite shoes because those are the only ones which seem to be comfortable for her on a consistent basis. We have gotten a few pair at Payless shoes, but they rarely have much in her size. I would love to find some nice, soft shoes for her that are not made in a third world country (as the Stride Rites are) Does anyone know of a company that makes these ( she wears a 10 extra wide or a wide cut style in a single wide)
TIA

My son has wide feet also and I just got him a pair of Soft Star Shoes that I ordered over the internet. The website is www.softstarshoes.com

They are great! Sooo soft and comfortable! The shoes run wide, but you can also order an extra wide if necessary. When I called them they went over the sizing with me and told me how to measure my sons feet accurately. Depending on your daughter's shoe size they can even customize a size for her if necessary (for example a size 10 sole with a size 11 wide upper).

For sneakers, I buy them at Stride Rite also. They are the ones my son is most comfortable in.

Here's a suggestion: go to www.bobux.com and check out their shoes. A friend recommended these to me and I just ordered a pair for my DS. My friend raved about them; she said they were great for both of her sons. They are ped recommended and are supposed to allow room for the little ones foot to grow.
