Pricing used curriculum?

I never really know how to price used books and such. Generally, I let books go fairly cheaply because I'm just happy to be rid of them, but on curriculum I need to get a good price so I can buy next year's books. How do you price used curriculum? For example I have the 2000 Oak Meadow Fourth Grade Syllabus. It's $200 new. The books itself is in great shape, the cover definitely shows some wear and tear. How would you price it?

I ususally check e-bay. I find the best time to sell HS stuff is in July and August.

If you sell through Amazon, just check for comparable books and price accordingly.

I check online to find out what everyone else is selling it for; otherwise, my rule of thumb is 50-75% of "buying new", if something is in fantastic shape.

I'd think about what I paid for it and if I could make that back and be happy. If I bought new, I would expect to get roughly 50% of the new price. Less if it's really worn, maybe more if it's in perfect tip-top shape.

This might not work for you, but I hang onto curriculum and use it for all of my kids. We use Oak Meadow and I'm able to borrow it mostly from friends (to be returned for them to use with their kids, who thankfully do not overlap with my kids' ages). But that works for our family and yours may be different. I would not sell curriculum if I thought a younger child would use it.
