Tell me what your gluten/dairy intolerant baby looks like

Hi all, I'm wondering what your kiddos signs/symptoms of gluten and/or dairy intolerance look like, physically.

My son is 15 months old. DS's cheeks and arms have little raised bumps that are the same color as his skin, no redness. They don't seem to come and go, but are just there always. They look and feel like keratosis pilaris (sp?), and don't seem to itch or bother DS. No other rashy areas, although he occasionally gets a red bum-crack if he eats a lot of acidic fruit or veg.
I can't say for certain when the bumps appeared, but it's been at least the last few months...4-6 months, I'd say.

We started solids at 7 months with banana, avocado and progressed to other fruits, veg and pastured meat. He got raw milk cheeses, yogurt and minimal wheat-containing foods around 10 months, and has had minimal amounts of cow's milk since his first birthday (he still nurses on demand, but I've stopped pumping for when I'm away, and he got a few bottles of it last month, although not recently).
We eat dairy of some sort and wheat every day, and have no family history of allergies...DH reports that he couldn't drink cow's milk as a child because it made him "mucousy." His folks gave him goat's milk instead, which he remembers being fine. In our house, we try to follow a traditional foods/WAPF approach (soaking grains, sourdough, fermented foods, pastured meat/eggs/dairy), although it's not a perfect world and we do slip outside this box at times.
Embarrassingly, I hadn't considered intolerance/allergy as a cause of these skin bumps before the last few days.
Any input or suggestions? Does he sound like your gluten/dairy intolerant kid? Where did you start? I haven't done much research on this yet, but will get down to business, starting here on mdc.
Thanks in advance to all who read and reply.

DD was roly-poly to the extreme. A big chunk. She grew into herself but not loosing her baby fat and having a huge belly. She was not your typical wasting away gluten intolerant kid. Rings under her eyes and sick a lot and behavioral issues.

A couple of good books: Digestive Wellness for Kids, Lipski and Healing the Childhood Epidemics, Bock.

DD has those bumps--they come and go on her face and arms, tho. Not sure why they don't stay put like kp is supposed to? Maybe I get it right at times and they go away? I think they can be related to vit A.

Does your son have any other issues beyond the bumps? sleep problems, bedwetting (too young?), behavioral, rings under the eyes, sick often, ear infections ect?

My DS was also a very big baby but then didn't grow much between 1-2. He had excema patches in random places that stayed until we eliminated all allergens. He also had a horrible time sleeping, always caught colds and had a lot of behavioral issues as well. Oh, he would get hives too if he was exposed to dairy.
