I know I sweat more than I used to due to being somewhat overweight, but is there any other factors involved? Maybe certain foods make you sweat more? Any certain vitamins/minerals or herbs that help?

Food and chemical intolerance can both make you sweat more. Sweating is part of your excretory system so you don't want to stop it artificially.
In my very limited experience, I've seen stinky sweat more often from food intolerance and odorless or chemical smelling sweat from chemical, but that is not necessarily any rule.

from my research, sweating is one of the few ways your body can release toxins, I would suggest eating a healthier diet, that should help with the excess sweat. When I first started excersizing and doing eat to live i sweat quite a bit during the workout then i began sweating less and less, then after about 8 weeks, i started going off my eating plan and eating more fast food and sweets, and although my excercise regimen was the same and it was actually cooler in the gym, my body began to sweat more than usual again, i think it was because of the unhealthy foods.
