want to spend the summer in France, so my kids meet other French children

Hi all,

I have been scouring the internet trying to find places to rent in france for a month or so in the summer where there will be lots of kids and my children, who go to a french school, will be immersed in French and also be around children who speak French all the time....

I have looked at the camps de famille, and they look interesting. I'm wondering if there are any other suggestions as to places to go, I would be happy either in a small town or city, (I was thinking Lyon, but then was told it is very hot and muggy in the summer)... but somewhere near Bordeaux, Toulouse etc...or any other ideas.

I just want to make sure if we go, that I can find lots of kids for my kids to play with (they are 8 and 5).... so that it's not just us in France but rather a whole experience for them.

schools are out for July and August
I should think your best bet would be a kind of camping ground (most have mobile homes) or an all inclusive holiday club where they have "club-enfants" so that your children can register to do group activities with other kids
in that case, the bigger the better because that would mean more activities to choose from
