Our son is 22 months and we have always given him a bottle or nursed him to sleep for naps and bedtime. We stay until he is completely asleep and then sneak away. It's worked great for us. However, we now have a newborn and I don't have the capability of lying with him for the 30+ minutes it takes to get him down. Any suggestions on making the transition from bottle/breast to falling asleep on his own?
