tightness on the ovary feeling, pregnant?

Silly me, im in the 2ww, and looking at every thing as a possible symptom of pregnancy...trouble is, im takign progesterone (200mg/day). so 99% of what i feel is brought on by that. Vague nausea, hunger, etc

However, that tightness in the ovary feeling, do you know what i mean? Like something is stuck in there. Ive gotten that before in the 2ww and found to be pregnant. Is it brought on by progesterone, or is it the actual feeling of being pregnant, evenif only a chemical pregnancy. Anyone know?

its not a pregnancy only feeling. I get it pregnant or not. Its irritation from the luteal cyst... which you have pregnant or not.

Are you saying you feel this in every cycle, or just when ttc? I never have this usually. Are you referring to the corpeous lutuem? Not sure what it is that you are referring to.

yes, that is what I am referring to and I felt it when TTC and when not TTC (obviously I do not feel it now but I am 18 weeks pregnant, my luteal cyst went away about 6 weeks ago)

when you are ttc, you analyze every tiny twinge and ping in the 2ww, things you normally would not even notice. it's easy to drive your self nutty. progesterone complicates it more. until af is late or you get a bfp, there's just no telling.

I feel those twinges every cycle--usually as I approach ovulation, at ovulation, and during the luteal phase. I have felt them more often and more intensely when I've been pregnant.

I saw a RE (fertility doctor) recently and he told me what he thought it was. I can't remember what it was right now, but I don't remember him saying "luteal cyst" or any kind of cyst. It was nothing to be concerned about. I feel them more often on the left side, and he said that was because of the way the intestines are relative to the ovaries things are more crowded on the left.
