So this morning my almost 4 yr old (6 weeks!
) decided to knock me down and try to steal the boo and nurse. We were not even out of bed yet and I was trying to get up after telling her no more. She decided to swing herself back HARD and the back of her head hit right on my nose. OMG, PAIN!! Got a bloody nose but not much and I don't really see any swelling but inside? OMG, It feels like serious swelling to the point I can feel it in the roof of my mouth and front teeth, its like a numbing pain if that makes any sense. Its like I got shot up with lidocane in the roof of my mouth but can still feel a throbbing ache in my teeth. My sinus's feel like I have a sinus infection from hades and my whole face just hurts. She did it at 7am this morning and now its 2pm and I'm still in a lot of pain. I took 8 hr Tylenol as that works better then Vicadin for me, least it did when I got my jaw cracked a few months ago but dang if I aint about to dig into the Vicadin and mix it with Mortin 800mg.
I swear she had to have broken something! I googled broken nose but they won't even see able to see any small fractures for 1-4 days anyway so no point in going in. No obvious nose deformity to indicate a break either, just pain all day.
What can I do about the pain? Going to the Dr isn't really an option and I'm not going to go sit at the ER so I need some home care ideas. Just occurred to me to go throw a rice pack in the freezer and try that and went ahead and took Motrin 800 and if it keeps up I will dig into the Vicadin if I need to but man, this is ridiculous for just getting my face smashed
