About two weeks ago my husband and I decided that homebirth was a better option for us than what we'd been planning (birthing at a hospital an hour away, with reasonably holistic-minded MWs). Since then it's been a whirlwind getting ready. Our mw's birth kit arrived today, and the pool is en route. While it's been crazy organizing all the stuff we need for an hb, we've both felt so much calmer since making the switch!
This forum has been so helpful to me in getting ready. It's so awesome to have other people's experiences to think about and consider some things we had no idea we might need beyond the list of things our hb mw gave us. Anyway, cheers to all you mamas!
