I want to try to make some meatballs that my 4 year old will like. Wondering if anyone has a recipe they like and especially one that might be kid-friendly (not too spicy). Thanks!

If you're not grain-free, I've made this soup twice in the past two weeks:

and for my semi-picky (almost) 5-yr-old I just leave out the herbs and cayenne. The meatballs stay so moist from cooking in the broth and from the rice (it's not that much rice). It's yummy and I throw in all the new spring produce and even greens and any combination of stock I have left in the freezer.

I JUST made meatballs today from my grass fed beef
I was concerned about the fat content, so I added more pork than I normally would. Probably 1.5 lbs beef to 1 lb pork. I'm glad I did, because they would have been quite dry otherwise. Ground oats work really good, we used this often when we were wheat free. I prefer tearing up 2-3 pieces of bread really good, soaking in a few tablespoons of milk and adding those instead of breadcrumbs. I like a softer texture to mine. I don't like oregano in mine...it's a little overpowering, so I just flavor with salt pepper garlic and parsley, add a couple of eggs and you are good to go. I didn't read all the posts, so not sure what all has been said, but I like to brown my meatballs before putting in the sauce, I think it adds much more flavor.
