I have only recently learned of the efforts of Nancy Schaefer for children. She called for a complete overhaul of CPS. She was found dead, supposedly shot by her husband of 52 yrs before he turned the gun on himself. Many that knew them well do not believe this story. I believe what she was working for is important.
