any thoughts?

Last night, I got a sharp pain in my left side for about an hour and a half. It was accompanied by pressure in my lower abdomen that kind of felt like minor AF cramps, but they didn't, at the same time. I couldn't really get comfortable, so i decided to take a little nap. I woke up about an hour later, so a pinching sensation in my left side. It was an off and off thing. I would feel pinching, and then it would go away, and then it would come back, and vice versa. It was pretty mild most of the time, but one of the times, it did hurt pretty bad. This morning, there isn't any pinching but a minor pressure/discomfort feeling. Any thoughts? I'm 10 dpo today.

It could be implantation you felt. On the other hand, I have felt that before and not gotten pregnant. I think it may be possible to feel the corpus luteum breaking down. How long is your lp usually? I hope it's implantation! Good luck!

See, my lp is shorter (without progesterone) so hopefully, in your case, it's the better news!

btw - the cycle I did get pregnant, I totally felt implantation. for you!

Implantation can feel like sharp pains and dull aches.

So can gas, ime.

Your lower abdomen is so much automatic, involuntary muscle, the sensations are much different and hard to distinguish. I swore, a year after giving birth to my daughter, that I had a baby moving around in my tummy with bad gas pains I was having for days.

It's all association. It's confusing.

If you're charting, mark it down, though, so you can see if there's a pattern to it (if this doesn't turn out to be your month). When my ex and I were TTC, I recorded all my 2ww symptoms and saw that there was indeed a pattern to symptoms I'd experience. And the month things changed was the month I got pg.

Update on the pain:

Yesterday morning there was some more pinching, pretty minor. I went out with a friend in the afternoon, and there was a little discomfort. And in the evening, I had very minor cramping in my lower abdomen. Nothing until about 2 this afternoon. Very minor pinching, some more discomfort, and now some more pinching. This time it was mildly painful.

I felt pinching like you describe on the morning of 9dpo. (maybe 8dpo - don't have my calendar in front of me), by one or two days later, I had positive htps.

I hope to see the same happen with you!

Now on the third day of it I don't feel the pinching so much anymore ... it's more of a constant discomfort feeling, with twinges occasionly. The pinching was really strong and one point last night, and I got really sharp, painful heartburn at the same time ... that didn't feel so great! Also, having nearly constant heartburn for the past day and a half.

I'm planning on testing Wednesday, but who knows, I may end up POAS sooner.
