Do you ever have portion problems?

I don't know if its just something I do, or if other people have this problem, I never cook a perfect amount of food.

I think its because I have always taken care of so many people that once my brothers and my cousin moved on, I was stuck on making so much food that now, it seems like just making food for us is way too small an amount.

Any tricks you use to cook the right amount of food?

Leftovers are not so bad, but Id really probably save money if i made less.

It took a lot of practice to get it down for the 2 of us, and we just added a third, so everything's going to change.

One thing I do is make dishes that any leftovers can then be incorporated into the next night's meals. I also pack leftovers in DH's lunch every day. We also have a leftovers night every Friday to eat anything that's left before I go shopping on Saturday.

a lot of practice. At first, I was always cooking too much food, but now, we're closer to the right amount. also, we like leftovers for lunch, so cooking a little extra isn't usually a bad thing.
