Metal taste in mouth

OK so this has really been bothering me. With my first 2 pregnancies (DH and a pregnancy that ended in a mc) I had that metal taste in my mouth.
I didn't have it last time (also a mc) and I haven't had it this time so far.

My question... anyone out there have it or not have it?

Ive never had it when pregnant (have had it when not pregnant)

I have heard that it can be associated with using prenatals when your body is not used to them... but since I have been taking vitamins my entire life and take prenatals when Im not even pregnant, my body is very much used to them.

I've never had it. You're pregnant, lady!!! I know, it's totally natural to worry, and I expect you to hold me up when I become a nervous wreck.

btw - I am SOOOO proud of you that you stopped temping!!!

Temping!? Are you crazy!!? I wouldn't temp now if you paid me. It was bad enough they dropped on the day before I temped.
It was actually a very interesting ritual. I usualy have my therometer in my pillowcase. I took it out and put it away, then I removed the FF shortcut from my desktop

I do have a really good feeling about this pregnancy. Just nervous. I actually switched back to prenatals at the beginning of this cycle too.

With my last pregnancy I had the wierd taste. I had to chew gum, suck mints, sip water constantly at points since it was so distracting. I haven't had it this pregnancy, but I just found out a couple days ago so I'm barely in. I read it has to do with the same hormonal disruption that causes heartburn/nausea, etc and it's quite normal. I wasn't nauseous often, thankfully, but I had TONS of heartburn with my dd.

I had a very horrible metalic taste when pregnant with DS, and the same with this one. I also had tons and tons of saliva. When I am in public I have to keep a tissue to spit in. It's pretty disgusting. My midwife says it is just one of those symptoms that some people get and some people don't. I think it is normal to get it, but shouldn't be a concern if you don't.
