Old computers

I have some old computers. They aren't so ancient to not be usable. Therefore, I would rather donate to a place that finds people/places that might need them. If I can't find that, I will drop off at Best Buy for their recycling program.

Does anyone know how to find people that reuse the older models. I just want the space back!

I would call around to local school, shelters, libraries and if you have a place that helps place women of domestic violence they may be able to give them to families in need as they leave.

Do you have a Freecycle or equivalent group in your area?
The thing we cannot get rid of for love or money are 17" CRT monitors -- perfectly useable, but cannot seem to find anyone to take them .

There are always people looking for computers on our local freecycle.
