Do you stop watching if the LOs wake up?

Normally when I'm watching something on hulu, I stop if DS (4yo) wakes up. Tonight though, I was watching Glee and i figured it was mostly harmless, so I let him sit next to me while I finished. Of course many of the shows I watch on hulu are a lot less appropriate than Glee (House, Bones, etc) but even with Glee I still felt kind of guilty about it and worry about what he might repeat at preschool .

Would you let your LO finish an episode of Glee with you? Do you always stop watching when they wake up?

You really have to make the decision based on your own values.

I'd be more concerned with getting my 4 year old back to sleep as long as he was feeling well etc.

i have older kids - 2 10 year olds and an 8 year old... If I am watching something bloody or gory & they come down I would pause the tv... (like the beginning of law and order)

well generally I'd pause it anyway and make them go back upstairs....

their bed time is my "me time"

Getting him back to sleep wasn't really a concern, b/c he had fallen asleep several hour before his usual bed time, so it was more like a nap than being down for the night. He does that sometimes on active days, he falls asleep very early but doesn't necessarily then sleep through.
