International Flight Unvaxed?

My question is similar to the one about the trip to Spain. Our daughter is 11 weeks old now and we are planning on visiting my family in Germany either in the summer or for christmas. My husband and I agree on delaying vaccines but however my husband feels that it is not safe to fly with her then. He thinks that the airport is a place of high exposure and the long trip in the plane as well e.g. it is most likely that a person who recently travelled to a more high risk country and carries a disease is with us in the plane.

What do you think about that? Should we wait to travel until she is at least a little older? I would love to go this summer but am a "worriesome" anyways.

DS has yet to receive shots if we do them... SO last year we flew SFO-Frankfurt when he was 8 months old, completely unvaccinated. I usually don't like antibacterial wipes, but as a general precaution for hanging out at such huge international airports I bought the travel sized Lysol wipes and wiped down stuff I touched (DS was a lap baby - I had booked a bassinet with United but turns out they don't guarantee them, only LH does!). E.g. when I went to the restroom (he was in the MaiTei mostly) I'd hold such a wipe in my hand so I don't touch the doorknob, I wiped down the armrests and such. And lots of hand washing, but as soon as Oma and Opa picked us up at the airport I went back into normal mode. He didn't get sick.
We stayed for 4 weeks and went back right when the piggy flu scare surfaced... We don't have many kids in the family so there were little chances of picking up childhood illnesses. The more dangerous stuff such as measles is a disease that has to be reported back home so you would know if there is any danger (since your little one is under 12 months, but also, she's a nursling I guess, so she should be fine).
Germany is no more dangerous than CA Just at the airports I find it common sense to be prudent!
