Cleaning tips/ Sign language?

Greetings fellow ECers!

I'm pretty much a semi-noob to EC... What is the sign for potty ?
( I'm making the "pss /hmm" noises and saying the words already)

There is vinyl flooring in the room where we have nakey-bum time.. but I've been looking at thrift stores for some soft/absorbent mats/blankets to add for dd.

Anyone have any "quick" clean up tips for "misses"? Warning TMI to follow...
---> (For runny breast-fed poop on a slick floor especially--dd is a frequent tiny-pooper these days) She'll be starting solids soon tho...

I already have a stash of green/natural cleansers--white vinegar, baking soda, (diluted) Simple Green, Mrs. Meyer's/Trader Joe's/Seventh Gen etc.

Should I just stock up on 50 cent rags at IKEA, so i can throw them in the wash with my prefolds? I don't like to use my (recycled) paper towels except for "emergencies". (Which I'm sure there will be plenty more of)

So--what's your clean up kit look like? Any "secrets" you'd like to share are appreciated! Sorry if this is a repeat, I didn't see this online anywhere, but I have been off the grid and offline for awhile ----Thanks!

I keep a spray bottle filled with a mix of water & vinegar and my extra butt wipe (cloth) nearby. If ds poos on the floor I pick it up with toilet paper then spray & wipe with the cloth. The cloth is usually enough to soak up any pee too.

The ASL for "toilet" is shaking the letter T.

Your rag idea is a good one, but I wouldn't buy new ones, hit the thriftstore for an old towel to chop up (not too small, after the tiny poops are done, you'll start getting huge pee puddles)

Bac-out! It's a natural enzyme cleaner and it's awesome. It magically makes anything biological melt away, and it smells like lime. I spray it on my diapers or rags that have poo on them and throw it in the wash. For pee on carpets, I spray Bac-out and then toss a cloth diaper on top to absorb it. But for a vinyl floor and breastfed poop, I don't think you need to do anything but wipe with a rag and toss the rag in the wash. Breastfed poop is completely soluble in water.

Oh, and you probably don't want to introduce too many signs at first, but some other useful ones for pottying are "more" and "finished." I used those three (potty, more, and finished) pretty much from the beginning. Oddly, DD used more and finished but never did sign for potty.

Here's an ASL dictionary: http://www.aslpro.com/cgi-bin/aslpro/aslpro.cgi
