I sleep through nightly nursings. I actually try to stay awake because I use to feel I shouldn't fall asleep while we both are in that position but I can't help it. I just latch her(and did with DS also) on and I instantly fall right back asleep and don't wake up until she needs latching on again.

Well, I was. I can't sleep with someone touching me, and can only sleep in a very specific, non-nursing-friendly position, and DS would awaken at my tiniest movement. I'd have been sleep-deprived had we not co-slept, but since I couldn't fall asleep until after he was deep asleep and I could wiggle into my sleeping position (just as deep asleep as I'd have had to wait for before putting him back in his crib had we not co-slept), or attempt to sleep in a position that was not comfortable for me.

Co-sleeping was miserable for me. I'm planning to do it again with this one, and planning on another year-plus of misery, just because it's slightly better than the alternative (being awake just as much, but having to be upright and not in my own bed).
