Bedspread/comfortor poll - Page 2

For those of you who don't use a flat sheet, do you wash your comforter/duvet cover each time you wash the sheets? I figure that since the flat sheet is between us and the comforter, they are the item that needs to be washed frequently. The duvet cover gets washed maybe once every month or two since we're not really touching it.

Wow. I thought I was the only weirdo in the world who hated flat sheets and never used them but I see that I'm in good company

We have the bottom fitted sheet and 2 separate blankets/comfortors- dh sleeps at different times than me due to work schedule and he has a down blanket, I have a lightweight comfortor with duvet cover. And yes, I wash them every week when I wash bedding (or more often if the baby pukes on the bed) DH and I have been together for almost 15 years and we've never been able to either agree upon or share a blanket :

Nothing pretty on our bed- it's a king and both the duvet/blanket are full size. Yeah, our bed looks ugly when it's made.
