Is on my blog:

There's some swearing in the story, which is an MDC no-no, so I thought I'd just link it rather than c/p.

Oh congrats!

I'm having the same kind of pre-labor you describe (I'm only halfway through reading the story) Hmmmm????

Congratulations!!

Even though it was fast & kind of scary for you, I'm glad everything went well!

Congratulations!!!!

That sounds like a very overwhelming birth! I'm glad that everything went well, though, and that you have your new little one on the outside!

Congratulations! I'm so glad we were in the same DDC-- I learned a lot from you these past few months

Congrats!

I had a very short labor with my second, and it was just as you describe. Three years later, I'm still a bit dizzy from it. Almost like, "How could this one be mine? How could this be over?" It was a very strange experience. From the first, "Oh, okay, this is probably active labor contraction" to actually holding him was right at 30 minutes. Totally weird.

My next was a lovely 6 hours, no prelabor at all. It was the perfect amount of time to just have a baby. Think it through, get it together, never awful, oh, here she is. I hope to repeat that this time. .

Enjoy your new baby, and her amazing arrival.

awesome, congrats!

Congrats!

That sounds a lot like my second labor--minimal pre-labor, dad catch before getting out the door to the birth center, double nuchal cord. It was very whirl-windy!

congrats - just very similar transition to end as me. to the no time to center, out of control transition to the double wrapped cord and OP birth. holy intense LOL.

Congratulations mama!!

It is stories like these that show us each birth is different--and that sometimes labor and birth just is what it is, and it's not the fault of the mother if she cannot stay within herself and have a "pain-free" birth.

Amazing story! Thank you so much for sharing it.
