ways to counter a reaction?

Has anyone found ways to help bring their child down from the "allergy craze" as we call it, once their child has been exposed. I'm dealing with it right now with DS (age 3). I'm pretty sure it was something environmental and not food related. We had to give him a breathing treatment about an hour ago b/c he was wheezing but the crazy behavior starts well before (with the exposure) - shiners, hyper behavior, impulsive, aggressive, can't listen, etc. He just turns into a different child...then eventually we will hear the wheezing and give him a treatment. I'm sure the albuterol doesn't help him to settle down any either. Has anything homeopathic helped any of your LOs? He takes magnesium daily and ES baths don't seem to do much for him - any other ideas? Also, is this likely due to an increase in histamine??

I give lots of vitamin C, and homeopathic histaminum when DD has a reaction (or apis if there are hives.)

Thanks changingseasons...I will give those a try. I remember hearing about the histaminum a while back but couldn't remember the name - I'm going to pick some up.

Methyl b12 sublinguals can help turn off histamine too - and because they're sublingual, they act fast...
