emotional unrest due to allergies

My boy is 7 yrs old. He's been dealing with food allergies/environmental allergies since he was little. Now that he's school age, he deals with them much more. He has become pretty angry. Has anyone dealt with this before?

If my DS gets cross contamination, or we're trialing a food (and it's feeling), he'll have tantrums, cry over nothing, and get irritated in the blink of an eye, yelling at his sister. Is your DS off the foods that trigger him? Is this a cross contamination issue? or environmental allergies do the same thing to him? Clay tones down DS's problems, but doesn't make them go away completely, and he reacts for 10 days to some things (like his current cross contamination).
