emotional unrest

My boy is 7 yrs old. He's been dealing with food allergies/environmental allergies since he was little. Now that he's school age, he deals with them much more. He has become pretty angry.

We live in a rough town- and my son is a minority at school, and he gets picked on a bit. His teacher is just out of college and not very helpful. He is behind in his studies, and i've watched his self esteem plummet.

has anyone else dealt with this situation?

These books are helping me to help my LO learn how to express her needs in a positive way.
