co-sleeping in Lion King

My husband and I watched Lion King 1 1/2 last night. They have a very pro co-sleeping scene. They show Timone and Pumba struggling to parent baby Simba at night. They're both exhausted night after night as Timone wakes them up for various reasons...He has to go potty. He needs a drink. He's scared....Then finally they invite Simba to sleep with them. They all cuddle together and go to sleep. Then after that, their nights are happy and peaceful.

It's really sweet. I'm not sure if the pro co-sleeping message was there on purpose...if the filmmakers were trying to say something. OR if they just thought animals (but not humans) sleeping together was cute. But...whatever their purpose, it was nice.

That's sweet, Dina.

How was the rest of it, though? Lion King (the first one) was so incredibly violent that there's no way I could let ds watch it. But he really loves the look of the characters, so I was considering this one for him...

I found the Lion King 1 1/2 to be very good. A lot of bathroom humour, but, as you know, kids seem to like it a lot. No major violence... Just a hyena chase at the beginning, but, nothing that was scary in any way. I think it is very appropriate for younger children.
