I have 2 4.5 yr olds

DD1 wears a size 9.5 and DD2 wears a 10.5

I predict that they will be about one size larger in a year---so a 10 or 10.5 and a 11.5 or 12 when they are 5.5 years old.

My 5 year 11 month old daughter wears a 1 1/2. I just ordered a pair of size 1 sandals, and I'm afraid I'm going to have to exchange them for a size 2. So, 13 seems small to me! She wore 13 last August. She wore 12 last June.

We've got big feet though. Ds is nearly 9 and wears a youth 6.

My 6 almost 7 yo DS wears size 12 shoes. He is pretty small for his age tho.

DD1 is 5 1/2 and about a 12 1/2 or 13, depending on the brand of shoe and its width. My twins are just 3, and they wear a size 9.

I think a size 13 at that age is pretty typical. Maybe a hair on the bigger side of average, but then again, maybe not.

I have one on each end of the spectrum...My soon to be 6 year old wears a size 1. My soon to be 5 year old wears a 9...and can fit some 8s.

Small Feet

Our oldest turns 6 in May. She is just transitioning from size 11 to 12. I've always thought that her feet were quite small.

Dd's in size 13/1 right now. Depending on the style, some size ones fit well; really, I'm keeping an eye out for 13.5 for her summer shoes.

She's a tall--95th percentile in height and weight--5y 4mo kid.

5 yr old ds: size 13
6 yr old ds: size 2 or 3 depending on the footwear

ETA: It might be helpful to note that my dc range from 95th percentile in height and weight to off-the-charts. Or maybe it's not, but you can decide for yourself.

I'm one of the "other" votes - my 6 year old wears a 2. I was surprised at how small the listed options were! They look perfectly proportioned to her body
