Can I complain for a minute? lol

So, I've posted about this already, but i've had a pinching/pulling sensation in my left side for about three days now. It's been enough to notice, but most of the time, it's not that uncomfortable. I've mainly just had minor discomfort today. Anyway, I was in the shower, and whenever I would bend over to shave my legs, I could feel a very strong pulling and it was rather painful. It's a little better now, but for a little bit, it hurt when I moved/walked, and now there's a mild pull just sitting/laying down. What a nuisance.

Ahh, I haven't read much about cysts. A couple people said it sounded like I've been experiencing implantation cramping, but we'll see.

ive had corpus luteum cysts get big in the past. it feels like it's pinching/pulling cuz it is, on the ligaments. if i sit up, like doing a sit up, or stretch, i might see stars it would hurt so bad. but those were big ones. when i was pg with #3 it got to be about 4 inches and actually burst at 9 wks. implantation cramps are more like af cramps, not related to movement, and central/uterine. this sounds ovarian on the left. just keep an eye on it, but i wouldnt worry. you are going to notice all kinds of twinges and pains while ttc and when early pg. if they are mild/minor, do not worry.

oh yeah definitely. I've felt similar to AF cramps in my lower abdomen, but as far as the pain in my side ... it's been a pinching or pulling sensation.

My implantation twinges didn't last that long... but I can imagine an irritated luteal cyst lasting that long.

I hope it doesn't last too long. I'm feeling better now though ... I guess I just needed to lay down for a little bit. If I recall correctly, I think my mom used to get ovarian cysts.

most luteal cysts go away shortly before AF shows (its the cyst that produces the progesterone during your luteal phase and into early pregnancy if you are pregnant. every woman gets one every ovulatory cycle it is nothing abnormal.)

They only become a problem if they do not dissolve as normal and you end up not pregnant and still not getting AF... but if you end up not getting AF and having a bfp dont worry, that just means you ARE pregnant. A luteal cyst will not give you a false bfp.

So yeah... if thats what it is and your AF is due in just a few days the feeling should, in most cases, ease up over the next few days and be gone by the time AF starts.

Yeah, AF is due on Thursday. Of course, I'm hoping for a bfp So is that a good sign that I'm having that pain and it's possibly a cyst then? Or is it basically a 50/50 shot of being pregnant vs. not being pregnant? I looked up information about them, and most of it is from people who had them during early pregnancy. I couldnt find information about how often they occur in non-pregnant people.

well the feelings definitely not a definite sign you arent pregnant, even if its from the luteal cyst. Id take it more as a sign that everything's healthy unless you start getting other symptoms that would be worrisome.

what symptoms would be worrisome? I've also been having constant heartburn and backache still the pain started.

neither of those unless the backache became so severe you could hardly move (but hey thats always worrisome)

sudden severe dizziness, headache or blurred vision (sudden and severe... for all of those)

other obvious symptoms that would be worrisome enough to send you to the ER normally (like severe abdominal pain)

but in the absence of any severe pain that you cannot handle... I wouldnt worry at ALL. Any little pains and aches are normal and probably not related, I would just worry about a sudden onset of something severe.

brun, it's really really easy when you start ttc to become hypersensitive to every little twinge and to worry, but you will drive yourself crazy. the same things that would be worrisome if they happened and you werent ttc would be worrisome if you are, like severe pain, etc. you know, it's just common sense and all. try to take a deep breath! good luck- will be waiting to hear results around wednesday-ish, right?

Yes, I'm planning on testing Wed with FMU

Good luck on your test day! For the record, last month I experienced pains/twinges cramps like strong/severe O pain on one side plus AFish cramps on 10dpo-11dpo. They were SO convincing especially after I got a convincing evap on a cheapie test. I was sure it was implantation (because those twinges aren't something I normally experience at the end of my cycle). It wasn't.

That said, I hope yours is.
